Home made bird feeder11 viewsSince it is a swinging one, only the sparrows use it. Bigger birds like spotted dove prefer the spilled grains in the ground. If we can fix the feeder from moving, then more birds will useit.

Common Carp Angling Dodamakkali Cauvery Fishing Camp JUngle Lodges29 viewsCaught this Common Carp while Angling in Dodamakkali Cauvery Fishing Camp JUngle Lodges. Till then we were catching just small mahaseers. Just as we were about to leave, threw in my fun fishing hook and while pulling out, this guy came out without a fight. There was no indication this fish was caught on the hook

10022008027105 viewsExcellent work by Nirmalya and team. Pity I couldnt spend more time with Nirmal to know more about him as I was rushing around before my fishing trip. See how all my equipment, both photgraphy and fishing equipment (country style) and my bird watching Binocs get fit into the bag. Just add this to the wishlist for version 2. Add a slot at the bottom covering the entire bag so that we can fit in a 15" alptop into the slot. I think usually the slot comes on the bottom side as per this photo, ie the space between your back and the other compartments. Next time make it without BPC logo so people wont know there is camera inside the bag. Especially when travelling in public modes.

MG 4424388 viewsI was following the flight of a racquet tailed drongo when my driver asked "sir did u see the leopard" and started driving fast closing the windows. I was livid, asked him to stop, turn back to take a closer look, and there he was crossing the road. Just could manage one snap before he jumped off into the bushes and hid there camouflaged. Today I realise what I did was wrong. I should have driven on without stopping or turning around for the photo ops.
