Birds of Mudumalai Bandipur or on the way shot by me. Still learning post processing hence excuse the low quality of the pictures. Few snaps taken elsewhere are described indivdually

Barn Owl Nest box prepared by Prof Subbu. The idea is to get the barn owls of bangalore to nest in these boxes.
Once I setup the nest box, will update the pictures.
Please note the magnetic latch in the small box
The nails that are exposed to the sun / rain are made of rust proof material and nail holes are covered with carpenter's wax to prevent water seepage into the wood. All holes / openiongs are smoothened out.
This wood is available in new bamboo bazaar, city market area or old timber market in shivaji nagar area.
These boxes are light weight hence may need some sort of anchoring
Also couple of shoe box nests I had setup for house sparrow and spotted doves. I have used small bricks inside the boxes to weight them down.

Flying Hockey Club VS RBI a match we should have won but for silly mistakes in the deep defence. Bad temperament by the deep defence, lack co ordination among forwards being the first match resulted in a shocking defeat. Better luck next time guys

Hockey match between Flying Hockey Club and PCTC. Highlights of the match were Christie's rocket, Dharma's second green card, really good game by FHC despite a strong opposition

When ever we travel to beach / sea side areas, we make sure to go fishing in the local fishing boats. In Calicut it was the local motorised boat and thin nets. In Karwar it was a trawler. The first attempt we caught around half ton of jelly fish. In the second attempt we caught a good lot of fish, prawns and a sea snake. Saw a broken ship. Reminds us the power of nature and how we are powerless before it. Listen to local fishermen advise on weather and sea conditions before venturing out. Use life jackets for Children (advisable to carry your own).

ECS took part for the first time in the Corporate Hockey Tournament Bangalore conducted by Dhanraj Ballal hockey academy to promote interest in Hockey among the corporates. A noble effort by Ashish Ballal to keep hockey alive. ECS won the bowl level of the tournament. Very well organised Mr. Ballal. Thank you.
